Tuesdays (6:30 - 7:30 P.M.)
Intermediate Salsa Class
Paradise Studios (826 SE Belmont St, Portland)

This class will teach you a variety of shines, solo/partner spins, leading and following technique, musicality, and intermediate/advanced combos that ARE easy to use on the dance floor. It is suggested that you start at beginning of six-week session. This is for dancers with at least one year experience taking classes.

Wednesdays: Beginning Salsa I (7:00 - 8:00 P.M.)
Beginning Salsa II (8:00 - 9:00 P.M.)
Ankeny Street Studios ( located on corner of SE 9th and SE Ankeny St. Portland).

Beginning Salsa I is for people with limited dancing experience. Our focus is on developing appropriate dance technique, music timing, and basic leading, and following technique. Basic dance combos are also part of this class, as well as basic styling for both, men and women.

Beginning Salsa II is for people who have taken three to four months of salsa instruction. The focus continues to be similar as Beginning Salsa I, but with more advanced moves, such as back-spot turns, forward-spot turns, copas, cross-body with inside turn, etc.

All classes are progressive. Meaning that every week we build on what we did the week prior. It is important that you start in week I, or the latest, week II, if you are a BEGINNER. If you miss two classes, you can always take a Private Lesson from Instructor to catch up and join the current class. For more information, please call Antonio, at 503-980-8578.
